I have a problem with accessing a domain workgroup on my Windows 2003 server. I have been using computer for few years and I never had any problem. Since yesterday, I cannot manage to connect to my office server. A friend told me that network firewall is blocking my access. Other friend told me that I might have a problem with domain forwarding. How do domain names work?

If you did not install some new programs or drivers at your computer lately, I do not think that your problem is connected to the operating system of your computer. I also do not think that you have a problem with domain forwarding. Maybe you have some virus or malware on your computer. That is probably the reason why your network firewall will not let you access to the domain on your server. I think you should do a complete check of your computer. For that problem, you have to install some new anti-virus programs. For anti-spyware software, I would recommend you to download and install SpyBot. For anti-virus software, I can recommend you AVG. Both of those programs are freewares and very efficient.
