How do I make CAller Id programs work?

I have a caller ID program but it seems that I am not able to make it work. It is not like I lost all day trying to make it work, but even after a follow the instructions it was not working. Do you have any idea how do I make CAller Id programs work? Thank you for your time.

You need certain configuration to even try to make it work. Do you have one of these operating systems Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP, further you will need TAPI compliant modem with Caller ID capability or ISDN adapter and one thing that some users forget to check up on is Caller ID service provided by your local company. If you had any problems installing caller ID it is definitely because you dont have one or two things listed above. If you have everything installation of the caller ID is a piece of cake. If you have everything and it is still not working check up the caller ID, it might be malfunctioning.
