My relatively new DSL connection, conducted via a SpeedTouch modem-router, has been dropping almost regularly, at least once per day and usually more often. The ISP says there's nothing wrong on their end, so it must be something with my settings. However, my settings are as originally configured, nothing's been changed. Any idea as to what I should do to stabilize the connection? Thanks in advance.

Here's a general connection troubleshooting link, give it a whirl: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/maintain/troubleshoot.mspx
If that doesn't work, do a ipconfig/all at a command screen, post the results here, and we'll tell you more.
