| Basicly, I am an Unix user, but I had to install wine because of some features. How to enable it is there a directory with wine, or what? Version that I am sing is 2, although Unix requires at least 3.0. Do I need libraries for wine, or I can use one that Unix contains? And, no, I didnt compile it becase I dont know where is the source file. All executable files are marked like Unix doesnt recognize it. Silly! |

| Hi! Well, you didnt mention what OS did you installed first. I think Unix must be installed first if you want to use it efficiently. I use wine to port sources to Unix, so should you. Wine is not an OS, so it runs in top of Unix. You got great tutorials on the internet, so I recommend you to learn some basic stuff. File names in wine cannot be written with a space, like msr tr.exe, so rename all of your files if you can, and everything shoud work fine. You dont nedd any fancy libraries, because all libraries are already installed. There is a wine folder, but you cannot use because al file within it are already in use. I f you want to become wine developer, use C or Java. Source files can be downloaded from all of the unix sites. When you try to open it you will see an error message. That is because dll-s are not installed yet. Remember, backup all of your files when you try to mess with source files. Good Luck! |
