I am told that when I change hosting servers, I'll need to change my DNS. My new service provided the new DNS, but I can't, and this is embarrassing, figure out how to actually change it. Where to go, what to do, that sort of thing. I tried contacting the old service, but I only get an automated reply. Any help here? Thanks in advance.

Which service are you/were you using, then? Generally speaking, there should be a control panel for your account, and from there you should look for an options menu of some sort, preferably something with "domain name" or "DNS" in the title. I don't suppose it'll be obvious, though. Once you do find it, just replace the existing DNS entry with whatever the new guys provided you with. I hope this is of some use to you…
