I hope that someone here will be able to help me because I really need help! I need to unhide a XP ntfs partition that was improperly dismounted. When I try to unhide it with PMagic I get a cfm error message that says I should run Check Disk. But since it is hidden I’m unable to do it. Is there a utility that is doing the same thing as Check Disk but is able to see hidden partitions. Thank you!

I think that this should help you: freewebs.com/computer-guides/test/gdisk.exe. Download this file. Then use a startup floppy of CD that can get you into DOS. Here you can run gdisk and use the /-HIDE switch to make the hidden partition visible again. But first run gdisk /status to see which partition is hidden since you have to specify the right one.
