Hi! Could someone explain to me how I can get my two PCs to share their Program Files folders between each other? I tried setting this up, but it seems to be forbidden or something. Both computers are running Windows XP Home, and they're connected through a Linksys router. Thanks in advance for your help!

XP Home, did you say? Well then I guess you're screwed, sorry. See, the Home edition uses Simple File Sharing, which is another way of saying you can only share what MS thinks is safe for you. Specifically, you can't share the Documents and Settings folder, the Windows folder, the Program Files folder, etc. There are ways around this, though most are either complicated (using CACLS.exe, in your Win folder) or bothersome (sharing each individual folder within Program Files separately).
