Hello. I am very new to Linux. Yesterday, I tried to copy some files from my USB flash drive to a hard drive. But, when I have plugged in the USB pen, just nothing happened. There was no found new hardware, or something similar. No indication at all. How to do that here? Thanks to everyone.

Hi man. First, you need to tell us which Linux distribution you are using. Probably, you have picked up some Linux CD with very slow and old kernel. My advice for you is to pick up some better and newer version of that Distribution, with automated scripts at boot-time. Drop your eyes on Vector or latest Mandriva edition.
