How To Burn Pictures to CD?

I have many pictures on computer and I would like to back them up and to free some space on hard drive. I have CD burner and I would like to burn them on CD. Unfortunately, this is the problem. I have only burned music from another CD and never something from hard drive. How can I burn pictures on CD?

If you are using Windows XP then you can simply insert blank CD in CD burner and wait for dialog to open asking you if you want to open CD burning dialog. Just copy pictures on CD like you would copy them anywhere on hard drive and choose option Burn this files on CD. Second option is to use third party burning software (which is a must if you are using earlier versions of Windows). The procedure is same for many burning software. Just choose to burn data CD and than again copy pictures to designated space in burning software. Then click on burn icon and wait for it to finish.
