I have a strange problem with Hotmail account. I have two computers in my home network, one with Windows XP and another with Windows 98SE. From computer with Windows XP I can access Hotmail account without any problem but from computer with Windows 98SE I can not. Hotmail gives me an error saying that password or user name are not correct. Of course, I am using same user name/password combination on both computers. Do you know what might the problem be here?

Hotmail is kind of buggy, lately. It is always happening when they are changing software or introducing new services. I am not sure about your problem. Check first do you have cookies enable on Windows 98SE box because Hotmail requires them to operate properly. It also might have problems with older browser so, update Internet Explorer or download new version of Firefox or Opera and try to log on while browsing with them.
