Hosting recommendations

Hi all! I need some help regarding hosting. I want a simple and easy host. I need just about a gig of space and not a lot of bandwidth. GoDaddy.com's Deluxe Plan offers 2GB of space and 100GB of monthly data transfer for less than $10 a month. It seems to me like a good deal but I am not sure since I don’t know anything about them. So, I would like someone here to tell me about their experience with GoDaddy if they have it. And maybe somebody could recommend some other solution to me. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately I have to say that I’ve heard a lot of bad things about GoDaddy.com hosting. The most important bad thing about them is that they don’t allow certain types of programs to be run on their site so you have to buy GoDaddy.com's products. On the other hand I think that LiquidWeb.com that I’m using as a host are pretty cool. They are really reliable and always there to help you with any kind of issues you might have. At least that’s my experience so far.
