I want to set up two separate but connected networks at my home because my sons play those massive multiplayer online games and they need much more bandwidth than me, so I want to avoid the throttle which always happens when they’re playing. So, I’ve read that I’m supposed to get two routers and hook them up together. Is it easy or I should get somebody to do that for me?

Out of my experience there is nothing worse from meddling with the things you don’t know the first thing about. Networking and creating two separate but connected networks via two hooked routers is one of them. Imagine what a mess you can create if you do it on your own? And it would take time to restore everything to normal. So, don’t hesitate, my friend, but call a professional to do that. I know that we, boys, have that “handyman” impulse to do everything on our own, but do-it-yourself method is not recommendable when it comes to networking. Trust me, you don’t want to go through the same thing I did. Now, the only thing I do on my own is switching my PC on and off.
