Hello. Hewlett Packard’s 19” monitor with AMD Athlon XP 1700+ processor and GeForce FX 5200 Graphic card. 120 gb hard drive, 256 ram memory, ASUS motherboard and Sony DVD drive. All of this for just 100$! Smile And it works nice, but there is one problem. When I set up 1600*1200 resolution, the image becomes so garbled and it flickers very much. I have updated Graphic Card drivers and everything else that matters, but the same thing. No improvements. Why is this happening? What I am supposed to do? Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Well, how high refresh rate you are using for your display? Try changing the refresh rate for that resolution. Try all combinations. If 1600*1200 is the only resolution that makes “no sense”, than you got some weak GeForce model. Anyway, there are some similar issues with the monitor and the graphic card like yours are. You are probably going to be forced to buy your self some stronger graphic card.
