I need your advice. I’m visiting a certain web site and I wouldn’t like anybody there to see my exact IP address and since I have cable internet and a static address, I need some software to hide it. Do you know of a good program for that? I have tried a couple but none of them was adequate.

It all depends. I think that Hide My IP is a pretty good program but I have tried only trial and illegal version and it some of the options were not activated. But as I recall it really enabled hiding IP. I don’t know how exactly it functions but when I checked my IP address via web site for checking location and address and it always showed some distant location and address which was not even close to my address range. So, I suggest you to try that software. You can try trial version and if you like it, purchase it. Cracked version is not so reliable and besides it can mess up your system.
