| I need some help with simple networking problem. I cannot connect to the network server. I've been doing it for a while and I never had any problem. Since yesterday, I cannot manage to connect to the network server. A colleague told me that, maybe, network firewall is blocking my access. What can I do? |

| If you didn't install lately anything new at your computer, I don't think that your problem is connected to your OS. There is a much bigger possibility that you have some virus or malware on your PC. That may be the reason why your network firewall will not let you to connect to server. I think you should do a complete check of your machine. For anti-spyware software, I would recommend you to download and install SpyBot. For anti-virus software, I use AVG. Both of those programs are freewares and very efficient. You should also check with your network administrator didn't he, maybe, changed some settings on your network firewall lately. |
