I have a problem I’d like your opinion on. I get a Data Socket Error every once in a while. I use FlashFXP 3.2.0. I usually get it when my ftp is idle for about 3 minutes. My passive port range is 50000-50030. Do you think this is a big range? What do you think may be causing this? When I reset everything works normal for a while but then the error appears again. I’d really appreciate some help with this! Thanks!

I don’t think that a port range of 30 is that much. Mine is a 100. And I’m pretty sure that’s not the cause for your problem. I think that you should check the netstat, the next time this happens and see if the port the client is trying to use is in the listening state which of course it should be. If it’s not in the listening state, you have to find out why. Not much help form me this time but I suppose someone else will be of more help to you.
