I have Hauppage WinTV TV Card. After placing it in free PCI slot I booted computer. Windows recognized new hardware,installed drivers and said that new hardware is installed and ready to use. But when I started software for watching TV error message occured saying "failed to create TV window". I am sure I have done everything written in manual. Do you have any suggestions?

You probably had some older TV card installed prior to this one so driver for this card stayed on your system and installed instead right one. To fix this problem run HcwClear application ( you can download it from Hauppage web site) choose total removal and search for .INI files. Disconnect from internet after this application finishes its job and install appropriate drivers. Next install software for watching TV ( the one that came with your card or some third party tool, it doesn't matter) and enjoy TV.
