Hello. I am really attending to make some changes to the Windows 98 operating system boot sequence as I heard that I can do that with ease. I must admit that Windows 98 is the most best windows edition ever. Regarding performance, actually. It runs like a NASA rocket. I successfully tweaked the system to accept more than 512 mb of ram, now I want to modify the boot menu sequence. I heard that I can implement my own logo. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

Hi. All you can do is to add option to boot to DOS directly, and nothing else concerning operating system features and subsystems. And if we speak of own logo instead of the original, you must get rid of file attributes. Change the BootGUI and LOGO to 0. Than after reboot you will be able to boot into DOS directly. When you decide to enter windows, just type WIN.
