Two days ago I turned on my computer. I smell something burned, but I didnt pay attention on it. Then I got some squares on my monitor. I reboot computer and everything was just fine, but there was smell again. I tried to play game, but I got some black and white lines on my screen and I rebooted again. But, this time, I couldnt boot it. My power led was green, and I assume that it worked, but my monitor was just black and the smell was stronger. What this could be?

Maybe your monitor died. When I smell something burned, I automatically think on monitor cathode (that happened to me few times). If it is not monitor, then be your power supply. And if it is ok everything with it, too, then is definitely, video card. You should try to remove all these things and find what damaged is. I hope that Ive helped you.
