| Hello, I have noticed that HDD activity light has begun flickering without any order. I know that light activity means hard drive is doing something, working something, but that is normal and causes no slowing down, while in my case, my PC suffers degrading of performance. Something is messing up with my hard drive, forcing it to work as a slug. What is that? How to find out? Thanks. |

| Hello. Open your task manager and see the process list. See the CPU and memory usage inside, that could be the leading trail on possible threat. Threat like worm or a virus. Use Process manager to get better picture and overview. Process manager is free to download. Try to defrag your registry with Registry Mechanic than update your antispyware or antivirus software, whatever you are using. Scan your entire system, you will probably find some intruder. And dont worry, your problem is easy to handle with. |
