I tried to format my windows XP professional operating system. I am saying tried, because I have not done that. When I saw 100 and just waited to see finished, I got message saying that formatting has failed. Since then, I can not open system. I tried to format it, but again formatting failed. Have you any advice for me?

You can try old school way: boot floppy disk with DOS and run fdisk command to format hard disk. This always helps, believe me. Other option is to try to install some linux distribution. You shouldnt have problems with it, too. And if you want install XP then you can go to bios and change settings, boot your installation disc and run support. This may destroy all your data.
