I wanted to add another hard drive to my system. I bought a 200GB hard drive and I used Partition Magic 8.0 on it. I divided it like this: 100, 50, 20, 20, 10GB. It worked fine for some time but then suddenly the last three partitions disappeared. I am using Win2000 as my OS. What do you think may be the problem?

I think that Win2000 can’t recognize such big hard drives. I think that it can recognize about 150GB max and that’s exactly what your first two partitions are together. Anyway, to remove all doubt about hard drive being corrupt, try plugging it into some other PC that uses WinXP and see if it acts normally there. I hope this helps you.
