Handcam recommendation

I am planning to buy handcam and I need some recommendations about them. I do not know much about handcams and I do not want to buy something that will later show it self as a bad product. After all, these devices are really expensive and I want to be sure what I am buying. Thank you for an answer.

Hello. It is good thing to stick with respectable manufacturers when you are making such choice. As far as I know (and I must warn you that I am no expert in this field) Sony handycameras are excellent products, although they are more expensive then products from the same category made by some other company. I can recommend you Sony DCR-DVD403 DVD Handycam. It is expensive but excellent handycam.
