I have an issue with image size, page width, and screen resolution. Let me just say that I'm not really experienced with html editing, but I thought I could make this title page work. Turns out I can't, at least not the way I want it to. The banner I've set at the top exceeds the width of the page in certain screen resolutions, and looks OK in some others. I tried setting the page width in percentages instead of pixels, but it didn't really help. So, my question: Is there some relatively easy way of making the page adjust itself according to the viewer's browser type or screen resolution? Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you mean by "easy". Seeing as how you declared yourself as inexperienced at html coding, you probably don't want to look into JavaScript or PHP to get the desired result. Without that extra scripting, I don't think there's a way to make the page detect the user's data and alter itself accordingly. As a crude workaround, you could try replacing the banner with a background image (containing the same image at the top) which would stretch properly on any resolution.
