Hi there! I have a serious problem with my laptop’s display. When it’s connected via power cable, the display is flickering. When it’s getting energy from battery only, the situation is even worse. Sometimes it stops flickering but I lose any lightness – I can barely see the screen with brightness/contrast values at their high.

Hello! It seems like your backlight is going dead. It’s some kind of fluorescent lamp so this shouldn’t be a problem to fix it. Search for it on ebay or just simply google for it. However, you can’t be 100% certain that this is definitely your problem. Maybe it’s better to take your laptop to the service store.
