Hey all! I want to install a HP Scanjet 5p Scanner with Windows XP Pro but I don’t have the drivers for this. I would greatly appreciate if someone here could tell me where I could download those drivers but what I need even more are some instruction on how to install these drivers. Thanks a lot in advance! BTW I’m using a Adaptec scsi card – I suppose this might be of importance for the instructions I need.

Try this place for download: ner-drivers.com/drivers/14/14328.htm
And, about the instructions…it’s good you asked since the drivers you’ll download aren’t made by HP and the instructions they’re offering you on their site wouldn’t work. You should first Remove the SCSI card and the Scanjet 5p from the Device Manager if they are there. When you’ve downloaded the drivers from the address given above unzip it somewhere you usually keep drivers and such, read the ‘installation.txt’ that should be there when you unzip and just follow directions. I hope this helps.
