I have an old HP Pavillion computer which served me well. Yesterday, when I tried to turn it on nothing happen. I mean, it wont start but there were some beeping sounds from computer case. I have asked around and learned that beeps in some sequence represent some sort of error codes that can help you to locate problem. But I have not found what these beep codes exactly mean. Do you know what sequence of one beep, then pause, then beep, then pause, then two beeps HP Pavilion beep codes mean?

If I remember correctly, motherboards in HP Pavilion models were with Phoenix Bios. If I am wrong try to remember what BIOS your motherboard uses because this beeps are connected wit BIOS and are different for different manufacturers. You can find all beep codes on manufacturers web site. If I am correct and this is Phoenix BIOS then you are out of luck because the sequence you described means CPU test failure. You processor is faulty and you will have to replace your CPU.
