I’m running a small business at my home. Very recently I had a network created in order to be able to connect all the PCs and share files among them etc. Everything is working just fine and now I just want to add this HP DeskJet 1600cm that I’ve bought, and I’m thinking to do it on my own. Can you tell me its network configuration?

Since your network is running smoothly, why don’t you ask the same person who did such a great job to install this printer and configure it for networking? I mean, since it’s a business network, you should play it safe and avoid possible problems caused by improper printer configuration. This printer is specially designed for networking and it ahs something like automatic setup, but I don’t think that means it can just be connected to a network without any adjustments. Basically, I think that since it is configured directly from the printer control panel there might not be too many complications, but still I can’t be sure. Anyway, good luck with it.
