I have bought new sata hard disk and when I installed it a problem occurred. When I put it into case ad boot computer after that, I got balloon which said that new device is recognized. I use XP OS. When I went to device manager to see if it was installed, I couldnt find it. Now I am not able to format it. Help!

You need to install drivers for your hard disk, because most of the windows dont have built-in sata. To install driver, go to mobo documents. The driver should be on cd or floppy. If you can not find it on this way, then it would be the best to go to the manufacturer official site and download it. When you install it, you will be able to see your hard drive in device manager.
