Hello! I have purchased new hard drive and I have properly plugged it into my case. It is my slave hard drive (I have properly set jumpers!). Now, when I open My Computer on my win XP OS I cannot see letters on the new hard drive and I cannot save any data on it. Is it broken? Please, help!

Hello! Do not panic! First go to Device Manager to see if your XP sees it. If they do not, then, you did not connect it properly (jumpers, cable). If it is seen there, then: Well, you have said that you have properly plugged hard drive into your case. But, have you formatted and partitioned it? I do not think so! Format it!
