HDD makes strange noises

This is really scary. When I power up computer I can hear some weired clicking sounds coming from hard drive. Despite this strange noises hard drive is working fine but I am afraid that it will soon change. I would really appreciate if you could tell me what is wrong with my hard drive and what should I do in this situation?

Hello. You are right and situation will change very soon. Clicking sounds and similar strange noise coming from hard drive means that drive is very close to dying. You should back up all important data from hard drive as soon as possible and buy a new one. To save yourself fro trouble you can create ghost and then just restore it on new hard drive.
