| If you already had the loosing data problems with your hard drive in the past and you have some new problems now, then you will have to make a backup copy as soon as possible. The most popular software for that is Norton ghost. You can use that software for that and it is really efficient and fast. However, if I were you, I would not use that software without strong experience. You could do just the opposite from saving the data. That software could kill your data so bad that nobody could restore those. Therefore, try to find somebody that has experience with Norton ghost and ask him to explain you the possibilities and danger. If I were you, I would do a simple copy of all the data on another USB hard drive. That would be the only way that I could be sure that I copy everything I need. |
