Hello guys. I think my hard drive has DIED. Yes. It is sad but true, but it appears to be so. When I power on the computer, it stops after the BIOS initialization and slows down everything to the pain ... Sometimes HDD cant be recognized by the system at all. And thats why I am writing this from my good old laptop. How to know is there maybe something else? Thanks.

Jeez, man. Thats not funny at all. If my hard drive dies or get malfunctioned (maybe) like yours .. Dont want to talk about it. You know what you can do? Try to connect your drive to the other machine, if sometimes it just slows down as you told us. See what happens than, because maybe just the cable is damaged. Maybe your ATA cable is dead, not your hard drive.. Lets believe that the symptoms are somehow fault. Otherwise,..... Sorry.
