Hi! I am not able to boot my computer since I installed one more hard disk. Second hard I have attached to the IDE middle connector, right beside first one. I am sure that I do everything properly, so I can not figure out what the problem is. I am hoping that you will explain me everything what I should know and help me to solve this problem.

First I would like to explain you that: on the back of your hard disks there are few pins with a small plastic cap on the two of them (jumper). Hard drive can be in one of three modes: master, slave and cable select. If both drives on same IDE cable are in the same mode, problem like this occurs. I think that your both hard disks are in cable select mode, because when hard disk is on middle connector it behaves like slave and you can not boot from slave hard. So, check jumpers.
