| After trying to install some support software for a USB camera, I can no longer boot into system! It tries to boot, then hands me some unclear message about the hard drive not being accessible, freezes, and I have to power it off. But the HDD is apparently OK, because I can boot into Safe Mode. The thing is, I don't know what to do in Safe Mode to repair the situation. Any help? |

| Which version of Win XP do you have, Home or Pro? If it's Home, you're shit out of luck, sorry. If it's Pro, you can do a system restore after you boot into safe mode. Go to the Control Panel, then choose System, then click the System Restore tab. It should be fairly self-explanatory from here. |
