Hello! I have bought new hard drive. It is Maxtor 250 GB. I want to install windows XP operating system on it. But, my friend told me that if I make only one partition as I want, then I will have problem with this operating system. Namely, it wont recognize hard drive as 137 GB capacity. Is this true?

Hello! I can tell you that this can be true. On the other hand, I have same hard drive with only one partition and with same operating system and I have not any troubles. Windows XP sees it in full capacity. I think that you should try what you want. If you do not success, you can always make new partitions, right?
