I need some advice regarding video card needed to run Sims 2. I have seen in system requirements that I need Ati Radeon 8500 or better and GForce2 or better. I am not computer expert so I would ask you to explain this to me and to recommend some affordable video card that is suitable for playing Sims 2. Thank you in advance.

When you see in system requirement some product or better/greater it means that this product is absolute minimum for running this game. In your case you will need ATI Radeon 9000, 9200 or any other higher number to run this game smoothly. Of course, you can settle with ATI Radeon 8500, but as a minimum it will not give you desired performance. All these cards are really cheap these days so you should by card with highest number you can afford.
