I bought computer last winter and it was working fine until yesterday. Yesterday, a friend of mine brought me a new game. We could not install that game on my computer. Whenever we try to install the game, it reports that I need video card with HDTV ability. My graphic card fan keeps grinding. Could anybody help me?

If your computer is a year old and you want to install some of the newest games on it, it is absolutely normal that you fail. With this frequency of producing games, you have to change your card at least once per year if you want to play the newest games. However, I do not think that your problem is in HD TV disability of your video card. HD TV ability is, like its name say, connected with output video signal on HD TV's. Anyway, if you want to buy a card with HD TV ability, it would not be a waste of money because that is the new standard and it would be investment in the future. I personally have ATI Radeon X850 with 256MB DDR2 and HD TV ability and I am most satisfied with its performance. It works great in Windows XP with DirectX 9 and Windows Vista with DirectX 10.
