About half the times I log into Gmail, I can't use the service normally with Firefox. Some times it works OK, but sometimes it just sort of freezes when I open a message, I can still scroll and open other tabs, and it still shows the Gmail links, but I can't click any of them, and moving back doesn't work either. Is this a known issue? How do I deal with it? TIA.

I heard about this problem before, with Fx 1.0, but not lately. Which version are you using? In most cases, an extension is screwing with Gmail somehow. Try disabling some, especially those dealing with tabbed browsing and/or add blocking. You should try this if your Firefox version is up to date, but if it isn't update the browser first, then update the extensions, then see if the problem is still there.
