I have purchased few days ago Gigabyte GA-7VAXP motherboard. I have not installed it yet, because I need to know something first. I want to know if this motherboard supports SATA hard drives, because I have bought one, too. Will I have some problems if I install this hard drive? Does this HDD support this motherboard?

You should not be worried about supporting SATA hard drives. This motherboard has controller for this hard disk. Also, SATA hard drive supports this motherboard. You can only have a problem if you use win 98 OS and you install SATA drivers and you dont connect SATA hard drive with motherboard you will get in that case BSoD.
