Getting video from miniDV cam to PC

Hello! I have an old camcorder. I have made a lot of miniDV tapes. This camcorder only has S-video output. I am searching for way to get video from miniDv to my computer. I use standard windows XP OS. Have you any suggestion how I this can be done? I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! Maybe it would be the best if you borrow from someone digital camera and convert analog to digital footage. After that, from digital camera transfer data to your computer. If this is to complicate for you, I suggest you to go to some shop whose specialty is transferring from miniDV to dvd or cd, and after that copy these made files to your computer.
