| There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Are those browsers better then explorer is a questionable thing. Many users think that they are better and safer. However, I personally do not think that because I am also spending much time on the Internet with explorer and I don't have any problems. You just need some reliable anti-virus protection. I can personally recommend you a combination of AVG and Spybot. If you have Windows XP, you will also need Service Pack 2 to be installed. All those things will not slow your machine much and will give you enough protection. I don't think that explorer is responsible for your problem. It could be, either, a problem with your provider or, which is more probably, those pages are infected and your anti-virus software blocks your access to those pages. |
