| Good day, everyone! I want to install this graphic card in my computer. Right now I am using Geforce mx440, and I heard that its not even near with performance, comparing to Ti4600. How do I do that? This should be my first attempt to do something inside my computer case. Any help should welcome! Thanks in advance. |

| Well, first of all, there are a couple of things you should do, before touching any hardware device. Make sure that you have proper drivers for Graphic Card you want to use already prepared on a CD or somewhere on your hard drive. You must uninstall drivers (add/remove programs in control panel), when you do so, you will be prompted to reboot your computer, right after or later. Dont reboot, but turn your computer off. Than, plug out all of your cables from your case (mouse, keyboard, etc). Make sure there is no power in the case. Open the left side of computer case with proper screwdriver. Inside of it youll see a few, usually white, PCI slots and one, usually brown AGP. AGP slot is not in line with the other ones, so this should be simple. AGP slot holds the graphic card. Remove the card gently, there is a plastic hold for a card do not pull! Remove the screw that holds the card and than repeat the whole procedure reverse, with your Ti4600. After you did your job, turn the computer on and Windows will say Found New Hardware. Install the drivers, reboot, and thats it. |
