I'm having visual issues in many newer games with my Ti4200 GF. They manifest in various ways, but since they're all video-related, I'm pretty sure it's the card that's vausing them. Looking for help online, I heard someone mention that this GF4 has serious issues with DirectX, in fact, that it doesn't "support" any version of DirectX higher than 9.2b. Is this true? The guy couldn't give me a reference.

That makes very little sense, I would say. Isn't it logical that newer versions of DirectX would work better with the card, seeing as how when they are updated, they weed out more known incompatibilities? You didn't mention which version of DirectX you currently have – if it's not the latest one, it's possible that that's the reason you're having game video problems, not the card itself.
