I had some issues with viruses and had to clean them from safe mode. When cleaning finished I have rebooted computer to start Windows normally but there is no picture on monitor. The monitor shows only dialog box indicating it is in power save mode. Video card is GeForce4 MX/TI. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Check if your GeForce4 MX/TI is firmly seated in AGP slot. Also check if cooler on video card is working properly. Connect some working monitor to your computer and see what is happening. If you get picture then monitor is dead. Then install some other working video card in you computer and see what is happening. If you still can not get picture then AGP slot on motherboard is probably dead.
