GTA San Andreas crashes on FX5500

I have a serious problem with GTA San Andreas and NVIDIA FX5500 video card. GTA San Andreas regularly crashes when I play it. This began o happen when I upgraded my system with FX 5500 video card. Before this one I had GForce MX440 and everything was fine, although I had to play on lowest video settings. Do you know what might be the problem here?

It looks to me like you have issue with drivers. When you changed your video card you had to uninstall old drivers and install new ones that came with your video card. Also, drivers tend to hang around the system even if you uninstall so I would recommend you to download DriverCleaner utility, uninstall drivers using it and then download and install latest drivers from NVIDIA web site. After this you should be able to play GTA San Andreas without any problems.
