What happens is, whenever I try to install the game, the installation breaks on this one file. It says it can not read from the specified device, and the file I can't get it to install is one data4.cab. What I want to know is, is there any way to finish the installation without this file, so that I can get it form someone else later? Can someone send it to me?

Well, not likely. That file sounds like it's an archive (.as cabs usually are), so it's not likely someone'll be able to just mail it over to you. If your installation disc is damaged, there's only so much you can do with it. Just get a new copy, preferably a replacement.
