I've switched to a new computer recently, but I can't seem to install Frontpage here. The installation halts at the CD key prompt, even though I enter it exactly as it's printed on the back of the CD case. It's rejected as invalid every time, even though it worked OK on my old computer. A guy told me that the CD key is really invalid, because basically when I bought FP I bought it for one machine only, and I'm supposed to get a new one now that I have a new machine! That's just preposterous, but can it be true? Is there really no other way out of this situation?!

That's pretty much the way things stand, but bluntly. You can, however, contact M$ here: support.microsoft.com and try explaining your situation. Don't know exactly what their procedure is, but hopefully it should end with you getting a replacement if you send in the copy you've got now. Or you could always go rogue, and search for a cracked serial on the net, though that's not without its risks either.
