I have been using Windows 2000 Professional for a long time and I skipped Windows XP completely. Computer is quite powerful and I would like to finally try some other operating system. I am considering giving Vista a try. Can you tell me if I would have any problems if I switch from Win 2K to Vista? Thank you in advance.

If you are planning to switch from Win 2K to Vista you should first check hardware compatibility list, especially video card compatibility. Windows 2000 is old operating system and I do not think that your computer (I you had not upgraded it recently) will be able to handle Vista correctly because it is very demanding operating system.
