Hello! I’ve just moved into a room on a campus and my roommate is French. It’s great since we can share various experiences from our countries and I’m pretty satisfied. We also share a PC and since his English is not that good, we are wondering whether it’s possible to have French and English version of XP on the same PC. What do you think?
I think that it’s possible. It depends on PC’s configuration and whether it has enough memory. The speed of the processor also has to be of sufficient speed. I remember that many people used to have 2 operative systems on their PC, Windows 98 and XP. I didn’t understand why exactly, but the point was that they used Windows 98 for games only. So, I suppose that this option can also work. The only difference is that Windows 98 is less demanding and that it occupies less space on HDD. You can try to make two separate system partitions and boot the operative system you want. Maybe you should ask the administrator of the network on campus to do this for you.
